About Instant Photo Sketch Pro
InstantPhotoSketch Pro converts a photo into a sketch. There are 4 types of sketches:
1. Pen sketch. Only the contour of the object on the photo is outlined.
2. Pencil sketch - contour plus pencil-style hatching.
3. Poster. The number of colors of the image is reduced to just few.
4. Color sketch. Regions of similar color are converted to brush strokes.
The process is fairly easy:
1. Open the photo with File/Open.
2. Select the sketch mode with the tabs at the right(Pen, Pencil, Poster, Color).
3. Press "Create" button. The process of converting a photo to sketch can take some time(sometimes up to few minutes).
4. Optionally - adjust parameters for sketching and press "Create" again. The parameters are displayed below.
5. Save the sketch via menu File/Save as.
The parameters of the sketch effect are adjusted using the correspondent sliders. After moving the slider you may need to press the "Create" button again to apply the change.
Pen sketch:
You can control two levels, level of black and white color. Higher black level darkens the dark lines, lower white level whitens the less dark lines. Moving the sliders you control which lines are visible and how dark are them.
Also, you can select pen and background colors using buttons Fg/Bg.
Pencil sketch:
The top sliders control hatching black and white level. The sliders in the contour groupbox control the contour display, similar to a pen sketch. If you don't want to see the contour uncheck the groupbox.
Poster:
The top slider controls the number of colors in the poster image. Minimum is 2, the best results are usually between 2 and 7 depending on the source image.
There is a contour groupbox at the bottom like in Pencil sketch.
Color Sketch:
There are two parameters, Color threshold and Brushstroke size. They both control the strength of the sketch effect. The first controls how similar the colors of the pixels can be to be joined into single brushstroke, and the second one controls the maximum brushstroke size.
Display controls:
There are 3 display control butons at the bottom right.
ZoomIn and ZoomOut buttons control Zoom level and the Original/Sketch button switches between displaying original image and sketch.
When pressed the original image is visible, otherwise - sketch.
Review :
Seperti aplikasi pembuat foto sketch lainnya, aplikasi ini pun sangat sederhana. Seperti yang telah dijelaskan diatas, anda tinggal pilih foto, trus pilih tipe sketch kemudian bisa anda sesuaikan settingannya yang hasilnya dapat anda lihat secara langsung.
Untuk Graphic user interface cukup simple sehingga mudah untuk digunakan dan tampilannya sendiri juga lumayanlah, bukan standard form.
