Bagi anda yang belum pernah tahu Eye Candy, eye candy adalah plugin untuk photoshop. Beberapa user menggunakannya dengan Fireworks, secara resminya software ini hanya untuk photoshop, jadi kalau ada yang menggunakannya di fireworks dan ada masalah, customer support tidak bisa membantu (sumber: alienskin forum / blog).

Eye candy ini adalah pengembangan dari xenofex sejak beberapa tahun lalu, kalau tidak salah xenofex terakhir versi 2. Eye Candy ini berguna untuk membuat efek yang dibagi dalam 2 bagian: 1. Shape, 2. Texture.
  1. Shape : memberikan efek berupa es, listrik, api, asap, metal dll
  2. Texture: kulit macan, reptile, petir, awan dll
Apa keunggulan kita menggunakan eye candy dengan brush (dibahas dalam tulisan sebelumnya), kalau kita menggunakan brush hasilnya kurang flexible karena bentuknya tidak bisa dirubah, hanya besar kecilnya saja yang bisa dirubah, sedangkan dengan eye candy kita bisa mengatur arah, besar kecil efek, kerapatan efek dan lain-lain, sehingga hasilnya bisa sesuai dengan harapan kita.
Tampilan aplikasi ini juga sudah jauh berbeda dengan xenofex, jauh lebih bagus… tidak lagi standard.
